Energy consumption in the free market in July reached 24,146 average megawatts (MW), a volume 7.1% higher than that observed in the same period last year and equivalent to 37% of the country's total consumption last month, the Brazilian Association reported. of Energy Traders (Abraceel), this Wednesday, August 3rd.

According to the entity's bulletin, the average long-term price in the free market in July reached R$ 174 per megawatt-hour (MWh), 38% lower than that observed in the regulated market, of R$ 280/MWh.
